Police release sketch of wanted predator
Courtesy Simi Valley Police The Simi Valley Police Department's detective unit is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a suspect from an attempted kidnapping in February.
At about 3:40 p.m. Feb. 21, a 14yearold female was walking near First Street and Bennett Drive in Simi Valley. She saw a naked man sitting in a car and watching her.
A short time later, a 16yearold female was sitting on the corner of Royal Avenue and Crocker Street.
The same suspect drove up to her and demanded that she get into his car. As drove away the female ran and notified the authorities.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 30 years old, 5-foot 8-inches tall, with short black hair and a slim build. He spoke in a high-pitched voice and may have a small mole on his cheek.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a mid1990s fourdoor sedan which was green or teal with possible minor damage to the right rear.
