Royal High boys' water polo players looking to try out for one of the program's teams can do so Monday from 8 to 10 p.m. at Rancho Simi Community Park Pool, said longtime head coach Steve Snyder.

During Snyder's 28-year coaching tenure, the Highlanders' varsity teams have been Marmonte League powerhouses, winning 22 league championships.

Royal lost to Mira Costa in last year's CIFSouthern Section Division IV semifinals at Pepperdine. RHS finished second to Agoura in the regular season.
