The school's theme was "Search and Rescue" based on the "seek and save" passage of Luke 19:10 in the Bible. The camp was visited throughout the week by representatives from the Ventura County Fire Department, the Simi Valley Police Department, the Simi PD canine unit and the California Highway Patrol.
