Local mom says her SUV is put to good use
      I recently had an unpleasant encounter with a rather rude man at the gas station who seemed to be angry with me and all other women who drive SUVs. I would like to let your readers know what goes on in my SUV on a daily basis. I make sure to carpool on a daily basis. I always keep at least one, if not two other vehicles off the road.

      I must say that I'm delighted to hear that Councilmember Barbra Williamson wants to continue her participation in Simi Valley city government. She will certainly have my vote. There is not a more dedicated, unbiased supporter of the residents of Simi Valley than she is.

      This letter is to an unknown person who was kind and honest enough to return a purse to the local post office. My daughter had stopped to mail a letter at an outside mailbox. She opened the driver's side door but was not close so got out to get closer and mail the letter.
