The Ventura County Library summer reading programs will run from Monday, June 16 to Saturday, Aug. 23.

The Catch the Reading Bug program is for children through middle school, and Metamorphosis @ Your Library is for children in middle school and above. Both programs are free and designed to encourage children of all ages to enhance their reading skills during summer vacation.

Teens are encouraged to check with their local libraries for summer volunteer opportunities.
