Simi Valley resident Carol Jean Mitchell, 66, was killed in a twovehicle collision at about 11:18 a.m. June 6 at the intersection of Erringer Road and the eastbound offramp of the 118 Freeway.

Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries suffered in the collision, according to police reports.

The driver of the other car, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was taken to Simi Valley Hospital and treated for bruising and complaints of pain.

No arrested have been made. Accident investigators from the Simi Valley Police Department's traffic division are conducting an investigation into the collision.
