Happy that city passed no-fliers ordinance
In full support of the proposed no-fliers ordinance; for most of us who go to our cars and see papers under our wipers, it's true that they usually end up on the ground outside our cars before we even start up our cars.
We shouldn't, but we view the papers as trash and usually just don't want to go through the effort of disposing of the papers properly.
This is not saying that being lazy is an excuse for supporting the passing of the ordinance. It is merely a statement.
Oftentimes, these papers are just a nuisance to those with cars. We have no say in whether they get put on our cars, and more often than not we don't want them. This ordinance would alleviate the problem.
Less trash on the ground and in the streets is something that just makes sense for us to pursue.
In other cities, in larger cities, such a proposal, if approved, would be difficult to enforce. Here in Simi Valley, however, our city is small enough to where it could be reasonable to believe that the police force would be able to enforce the ordinance. Cameron Reyes Simi Valley
