William Robert Crowe Jr. was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on May 31 at an ordination Mass at Our Lady of the Angeles Cathedral in Los Angeles.

His first assignment will be at St. Peter Claver Church in Simi Valley.

Crowe is a Loyola Marymount University Graduate with a bachelor's degree in theology and a master's degree in pastoral studies. He completed his Master of Divinity degree at St. John's Seminary of Camarillo.

His home parish is St. John the Baptist of Baldwin Park.

Before he entered the seminary Crowe worked as a computer programmer.
