Home Video Studio

The Home Video Studio offers individuals, businesses, schools and organizations at least 27 types of professional video services, such as video to DVD transfers, photo-video montage keepsakes, videotape duplication, video editing, and sports or music scholarship videos.

One of the studio's services is home movie transfer. Home movies made on 16 mm, 8 mm or Super 8 mm film, which can be ruined by mildew and moisture, are transferred onto a longer-lasting DVD digital format.

Home Video Studio is the world's leading international video production services franchise in the United States, Canada and Sweden. Co-owner Jeff Johnson recently opened a local studio at 4582 N. Vistapark Drive in Moorpark.

Johnson has made his career in video as a network television camera operator and continues to work part-time for Fox Sports Network. He has worked on such shows as "Deal or No Deal" and "The Tyra Banks Show."

Johnson works on the technical production side of the business while his wife, Kim, assists with marketing.

Johnson recently created an orientation video for Conejo Valley Adult Education to show students how to interview for a job. The video is now used by adult schools throughout the state.

Home Video Studio uses stateoftheart professional video equipment. Film transfers are done digitally and capture the images frame by frame. Johnson can also transfer original sound, add music and create menus and scene selections on DVDs.

"I bring a lot of real industry experience to what I do," Johnson said. "And I can offer these Hollywood-style video services to customers without the Hollywood price tag. I want to help people best preserve their precious photo memories."
