Canine cop and partner have good showing
Competition largest of its kind in California
      Simi Valley Police Officer Vince Allegra and his K9 partner Rocco competed in the 21st annual Redondo Beach Police Canine Trails on May 9 and 10. The team won first place overall in the Novice Division. This is the second year that Allegra and Rocco have competed as a team in the trials.

      Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District reminds residents that dogs must be on a leash at all times on district properties. A dog off leash can easily hurt someone, jump on another person, chase a squirrel into the street and cause a car accident, or get in a fight with another dog.
