Sunday, June 15 is Father's Day, and the Simi Valley Acorn is inviting you to take out pen, pencil or crayon and draw a picture of dear old dad.

Using the template in the ad on page 16, draw a picture of what your father looks like and send it to the Simi Valley Acorn, 30423 Canwood St., Ste. 108, Agoura Hills, CA 91301.

You can also scan your drawing and send an e-mail to dads@theacorn.com.

Dad, don't take it personally. If you've got really big ears it just means you're a good listener. If your hair isn't quite right, maybe it's because it isn't there anymore. It's the thought that counts.

Dads are special. Show him you care by taking part in this year's "Let's Draw Dad" tribute as explained on page 16.

The absolute deadline is Friday, June 6. Get your kid's picture in on time!
