The Simi Valley Days Foundation will be honoring Simi Valley Days Person of the Year at the parade Sept. 13.

Residents are encouraged to nominate community members who have given unconditionally through the years to the people of Simi Valley.

Nominations should include a brief (200 words or less) description of why the person should be honored, their name, contact information and also contact information of the person making the nomination.

The foundation wishes to honor someone who is not always recognized for their efforts.

Nominations may be mailed to Simi Valley Days, c/o Eclipse Printing & Design, 5220 Gabbert Road, Moorpark, CA 93021.
