The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents the following programs for seniors. Activities take place at the Simi Valley Senior Center at 3900 Avenida Simi unless otherwise noted.

•Karen Troop teaches basic ballet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 16 through July 21. Ballet shoes are recommended. No experience is necessary. Cost is $24.

•Basic computer skills are taught from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 to July 22. Cost is $40.

•Intermediate computer is offered Wednesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 25 to July 16. Topics include Windows XP, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Cost is $40.

•The Essence of eBay class is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 19 through July 24. Learn how to see items online. Class fee is $40.

•Scrapbooking Club meets on an ongoing basis from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays. Bring photos to create a scrapbook. Quarterly fee is $5.

•Pickleball, also called modified paddle tennis, is a combination of badminton and tennis. The game is played on a badminton court with a 3-foot high net and large paddles. Singles and doubles may play. The program is ongoing yearround from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays. There is no cost to play.
