The Simi Valley Family YMCA is looking for lifeguards and swim instructors to supervise and teach in the Y's indoor swimming pool this summer.

Swim instructors must be at least 15 years old and have current CPR and first aid certificates.

Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old, have a YMCA or Red Cross lifeguard certificate and be trained in CPR, first aid and oxygen administration.

The YMCA offers the necessary CPR, first aid and lifeguard training classes for those who are not certified.

Hours are flexible and suitable for older high school students and college students.
