We wanted to thank the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District for making right a wrong.

Our first hike on the trail that leads to Officer Michael Clark's memorial led us to tears. The memorial had been vandalized.

We traced who he was through the police department where they keep his life and story alive in the lobby display. We were instructed to contact the parks and recreation department to report.

The department responded, and on our next hike the memorial was restored whole.

This fallen hero who put his life before others has a powerful eternal message to share with this community and world.
