Said Smyth: "This award gives me an opportunity to acknowledge, at the state level, all the wonderful things (PrintMasters) have done for the community." PrintMasters, which will  celebrate  its  25th  anniversary  this year, was recognized for  its  generosity and support  of  numerous  causes.  "It  is  my  belief  that  giving  back  to  the  community  is  an obligation," said Foster, a Simi Valley City Councilmember. "It is part of what we should do as responsible citizens and it is how I was raised."
