Army medic just wants to say thanks for the support, Simi

2008-04-25 / Letters

I am a soldier currently serving as a medic in Iraq, south of Baghdad.

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has spent time and money on supporting troops.

Thank you for the care packages, letters and pictures; they really do make a big difference for everyone here.

I especially wanted to thank my friends and family; everybody has been a great support to me while I have spent my time serving.

I was born and raised in Simi Valley.

Although I always thought all I ever wanted was out, now all I want is to be back home shopping at the Town Center. I count my days growing up there as a blessing and hope to be back home soon.
