Lecture to address wildlife

The Moorpark College Biology Department's Gary Ogden Memorial Lecture and The Year of the Environment will present a free lecture open to the public, "Carnivores on the Fringe" from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 in the Main Stage, Performing Arts Center, 7075 Campus Road.

National Park Service wildlife ecologist Dr. Seth Riley will discuss the secret lives of coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions in the Santa Monica Mountains, the fates of the lion kittens born in 2004 and what human actions are negatively impacting all the carnivores in the area.
