Pioneer softball team off to a perfect start
Grace Brethren performing well, too
      March couldn't have gone any better for the Simi Valley High softball team. With three wins on Tuesday, the Pioneers improved their overall record to 11-0. At 2-0 in the Marmonte League, SVHS is in a three-way tie for first place with Royal and Thousand Oaks.

Simi Eclipse to be honored by L.A. Galaxy
     DOMINATING EFFORT- The Simi Valley Eclipse U-12 girls' soccer team won the California Spring Cup championship in Anaheim, outscoring their competition from Nevada and Arizona by a total score of 11-1. The Eclipse will be honored during a Los Angeles Galaxy home game on April 19. Team members include Morgan Bertsch, Brenna Belnick, Anna Darin, Alexa Darough, Jacqui Gaball, Alyssa Galvis, Kelsie Garrison, Brooke Horvatich, Julia Houston, Kerry Manion, Elizabeth Ruble, Lindsay Stasinis, Melissa Toczynski and Kelly Weldon. Kevin Manion is the manager. Ronnie Shields is an assistant coach.
