Political cartoonist will speak at synagogue
Award winning political cartoonist Steve Greenberg will be the guest speaker at Congregation B'nai Emet's Shabbat service at 8 p.m. Friday, March 28 at the synagogue at 4645 Industrial St., No. 2C, Simi Valley.
Greenberg is an editorial cartoonist and news artist for the Ventura County Star and also a regular contributing cartoonist for the Jewish Journal.
He previously worked for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal and the Los Angeles Daily News.
His book "Fine-Tooning the Planet" is a collection of his environmental cartoons and will be available for purchase. For more information, call (805) 581-3723.
