Bring in New Year with a good laugh

The Livery Theatre's annual New Year's Improv Show will be from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at the Livery Theatre, 34 N. Palm St., Ventura.

The evening includes hors d'oeuvres, a dessert buffet and a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses.

The local award-winning TheatreSports group will present a family friendly show.

A Champagne toast will follow the performance.

"With the event ending at 10:30, our guests can move on to another party to celebrate the New Year, or call it a night and beat the crowds home," said Gary Best, associate artistic director at the Livery.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children under age 15.
