Underwood Farms will be closing up for winter

The Farm Center and Farm Market at Underwood Family Farms will be open weekends only through Sunday, Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

After Dec. 16, the entire farm will close for the season until March 1.

Activities include the moon bounce, pony rides, electric tractors, train rides, trike trail, petting corral and the animal show.

On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9, guests may take a vintage tractor-drawn wagon ride with Santa around the farm. Rides are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $3 per person, in addition to the admission charge.

Guests may also purchase Christmas trees from a wide variety of fresh-cut noble, grand, Fraser, Nordman and Douglas fir silver tip trees.

All trees stand in water and delivery/flame retardant is available, as well as many tree and Christmas accessories, including stands, wreaths, mistletoe, garlands, poinsettias and other home decor.

Trees will be available seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. through Dec. 17.

Admission to the Farm Center is $3; children under 2 are free.
