Maritime Museum presents ship sale

The Ventura County Maritime Museum presents its annual holiday ship model sale throughout December.

A wide selection of sailing ship models is available. All proceeds from sales benefit the educational programs of the museum.

Members of the Maritime Museum Ship Model Guild will be on hand every weekend this month to demonstrate the craft of re-creating historically accurate, detailed ship models in miniature and will reveal the mystery behind how those ships get inside that ship-in-a-bottle.

The museum is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Fisherman's Wharf at Channel Islands Harbor, 2731 S. Victoria Ave., Oxnard.
