Credit union hosts Simi grand opening

Lockheed Federal Credit Union will host a week of grand opening celebration events from Nov. 5 through 10 at its new location, 153 Cochran St. in Simi Valley.

A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wed., Nov. 7. The credit union will provide refreshments and an opportunity drawing for those in attendance.

"Our branch has been open just a few weeks, and the community response has been outstanding," said Ron Schneidereit, branch sales manager. "We welcome everyone to celebrate our new location in Simi Valley. A number of residents have already visited the branch, and we're glad to open our doors to celebrate with them."

Members and guests can win a new car or cash through the Mini Cooper car contest and cash sweepstakes.

Guests can visit the branch and enter the two contests from Nov. 5 through 10. Contest winners will be announced after Nov. 12. No purchase is necessary.

The Simi Valley branch location offers ample parking, e-cafe station for in-branch online banking and two 24hour, fullservice ATMs.

Members also have free access to 25,000 Co-op Network ATMs.
