Mayor should bill the developers while he's at it

I support the mayor's plan to bill for police services relating to the Simi Valley church that chose to harbor an illegal immigrant.

In fact, I think Mayor Paul Miller should carry on that theme and bill the developers who bulldozed Simi Valley's hill to build hundreds and hundreds of new homes for the police department costs associated with the shooting at the Tire Pros store.

With those homes came an increase in Simi Valley's crime rate, and Simi Valley is no longer the "Safest City in America." The developers bulldozed the hill, built the houses, took the money and ran- leaving us longtime residents with a less safe city to live in. I say, "Charge 'em, Paul!" Don Miller Simi Valley
