Awesome autumn arts

SHINING IN THE SUN Topanga resident Mary Morley, at left, grins from behind the sun catchers she makes from beads, mirrors, crystals and monofilament at the Simi Valley Senior Center Fall Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday. "Someone gave me a bunch of crystals from a broken chandelier," she said. "I thought, 'What can I do with these?' Then the idea of a sun catcher came to me."
