Calls coverage of fatal shooting insensitive

This letter is being written to complain about the coverage by The Acorn with regard to the murder of Susan Sutcliffe.

I was disgusted by the pictures on the front of the page. Instead of focusing on the victim, The Acorn chose to run a large picture of the murderer and the bloody chair.

There should have been a picture of Susan and a story about what a wonderful person she was to all that knew her. She was a kind and gentle spirit who did not deserve to have her life end the way it did.

For her family to see this as they were preparing to bury her was insensitive. Susan was the victim of a madman, and your paper should not make the family victims again by publishing these types of pictures. Judy Magee Windle Simi Valley
