LDS will host emergency preparedness classes
Expo starts tomorrow at 9 a.m.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will sponsor an Emergency Preparedness Training Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the church building, 1276 Erringer Road, Simi Valley. The public is invited.

Classes will be at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m. Topics will repeat each hour.

Classes, booths, and demonstrations will be offered on "Where Do I Start," 72-hour emergency kit, gardening, Red Cross services, water storage, first aid, ham radio, dry canning and more.

The Simi CERT team and fire department will also be on hand.
