Lecture will address advanced directives

The Simi Valley Senior Center will host a free lecture and discussion on advanced directives with Ron Hyrchuk, Simi Valley Hospital's spiritual care director, on Monday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.

Hyrchuk will review the different types of advanced directives and how they can ensure medical decisions will be made in accordance with your wishes in the event of a debilitating illness.

A Q&A session will follow the lecture. An authorized notary will be available on-site to notarize directives at no cost.
