Adoptive parents needed

Children's Bureau will offer an information meeting for adoptive parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Prospective caregivers are encouraged to attend.

The bureau provides training, certification, benefits and support to qualifying families or individuals.

The agency is a nonprofit organization working to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect.
