      Children's Bureau will offer an information meeting for adoptive parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Prospective caregivers are encouraged to attend.

Girl Scouts realign leadership
      Girl Scouts of Monterey Bay and Girl Scouts of Tres Condados have united to establish Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast. The newly formed council will serve girls throughout the counties of Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, San Benito, Monterey and Santa Cruz.
