Poker tournament will benefit B&G Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley will hold its third annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2850 Lemon Drive, Simi Valley.

Registration begins at 5 p.m., and the tournament starts at 6. There will also be a Texas Hold 'Em instruction session from 5 to 6 p.m.

The top nine winners of the tournament will receive prizes, including the first prize of a plasma screen TV.

The cost of the tournament is $150 per player, which is tax deductible. Observers may pay a $50 registration fee. Cost includes dinner, two drinks and a raffle ticket.

All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley.
