Mid-State banks change their name

Mid-State Bank & Trust has officially changed its name to Rabobank, N.A.

Mid-State has been operating as a division of Rabobank, N.A. since May 1, 2007, when its parent company MidState Bancshares was acquired by Rabobank, a California community bank with more than 90 retail offices.

In recognition of the change, the bank is providing Ventura County customers of the former Mid-State Bank & Trust special offers.

Rabobank locations are offering a special "Celebrating California" sweepstakes, which includes weekly prizes of gift baskets of California wine and food, and grand prizes of a professional racing bicycle and cycling gear.

All of the retail offices and financial service centers remain open and continue to be staffed by the same employees and managers. Rabobank will continue to honor and process checks, wires and other electronic transactions drawn on and made payable to Mid-State. Mid-State customers will retain their current account numbers and passwords, and may continue using their existing checks and ATM, debit and credit cards.

Mid-State customers should continue to use the Mid-State website, which now features the Rabobank logo, for all of their online banking activities.
