Simi Valley is intolerant of all the social blemishes and scars that thrive in the sad city that we came from. That once peaceful, beautiful city, just 60 miles away, made a name for itself last year as the murder capital of the nation for January and February. You ought to try living there for a year . . . or 13, as my family did.
