City may have bigger concerns

Regarding the mayor's bill to the Simi Valley United Church of Christ, it occurs to me that, if the mayor's math is correct, Simi Valley has a much bigger problem than a church giving shelter to a young woman and her baby.

If it costs more than $39,000 and 500 man hours to deal with a three-hour protest, we're in for real problems if the city ever has to deal with a real disaster, such as a major earthquake or a fire. Joy Gaylord Simi Valley
