Local realtor sponsors tomorrow's Wag N' Walk

Sharon Staples, realtor with Rodeo Realty's Simi Valley branch, will participate in Wag N' Walk tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 29, starting at the Rancho Simi Community Park.

Staples, her husband and their two dogs will head up "Team Staples" to raise money for the event by walking a 3-mile course. Clients who buy or sell through Staples can also have a $500 donation made in their name, to Animal Rescue Volunteers or an animal shelter of their choice, on a successful close of escrow.

All funds raised from the event will benefit Animal Rescue Volunteers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and placement of local homeless and abused pets.

The event will include a complimentary breakfast hosted by The Secret Garden Restaurant, opening ceremony, prizes for the top three fundraisers, dog costume contest, silent auction and dog adoption.
