Local group hosts blood drive

The Simi Valley Family YMCA will host a blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24 at 3200 Cochran St.

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church will also take blood donations from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1305 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

At both events, the City of Hope Hospital will register individuals between the ages of 18 and 61 into the National Marrow Donor Registry.
