Simi insurance agents know how to sell

Two local Farmers Insurance representatives/district managers have been inducted into the Farmers' Topper Club of top sales producers: Vincent Vartanian, 1919 Williams St., Ste. 320, and Charley Beals, 40 W. Cochran St., both of Simi Valley. They were recognized for outstanding sales achievements during 2006.

"Farmers congratulates these individuals on qualifying for this year's Topper Club. This award demonstrates a commitment to providing quality insurance coverage and industry-leading service to Farmers' customers," said Jim Westerman, senior vice president of sales.

No-cost concert series resumes at San's Pizzeria

San's Pizzeria will again host a free concert series in the food court of the Simi Valley Town Center from 5 to 8 p.m. every Saturday night from Sept. 22 to Oct. 27.

San's Pizzeria is in the food court next to Macy's Men's. The mall is just north of the 118 Freeway between First Street and Erringer Road.

Free seminar to discuss saving for your child's college education

A free seminar on how parents can save for their child's college education will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Simi Valley Family YMCA, 3200 Cochran St.

Tony Turcotte Jr., an education planning specialist with Walker Financial Partners, will conduct the seminar.

The seminar is free to YMCA members and nonmembers.
