The game capped the college's 40th anniversary celebration, which also included food, games, free temporary Raiders tattoos and meet-and-greets with Seabees from the Ventura County Naval Base at Port Hueneme, who helped build the stadium more than 20 years ago. The Raiders lost to Saddleback, 13-41.
