Winners of Acorn fiction contest will be revealed next week

Because of an overwhelming amount of public participation in the Simi Valley Acorn's Fiction in a Nutshell contest (thank you, thank you), the paper has decided to delay publishing the winners one week until Friday, Sept. 14.

At that time, the top 3 winners in each category- under18 and above-18- will have their 100-word entry printed in the paper.

The Simi Valley Acorn would like to thank all the talented writers, both young and old, who took the time to take part in the contest. Your patience is appreciated.
