Ice cream social in Moorpark

The Moorpark Presbyterian Church will host its annual ice cream social and talent and variety show on Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Fellowship Hall, 13950 Peach Hill Road. The event is free.

Ice cream will be served starting at 6:15 p.m., and the variety show begins at 6:45 p.m.

The event is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to come and meet church members and to see the construction of the new sanctuary.

This year's show is (loosely) hosted by the Muppets and includes the youth house and family acts performed by the congregation and friends.
