Annual CAPER report available at City Hall, library

The report reviews the city's progress in meeting goals for affordable housing and supportive needs of low and moderateincome households and documents the expenditure of funds for such purposes.

Elements contained in the draft document include a summary of resources and programmatic accomplishments, the status of actions taken during the year to implement the city's overall Consolidated Plan strategy and a self-evaluation as to the progress made to these ends during the past year.

The document is available for the minimum 15-day public review beginning Aug. 31, 2007, at the city of Simi Valley City Clerk's office located at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, the Ventura County Library/Simi Valley branch at 2969 Tapo Canyon Road and the Development Services building located at 3855 'A' Alamo St.

Citizens can submit comments in writing to City of Simi Valley, Attn: Carolyn Duncan, Environmental Services Department, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

Public comments will also be accepted at the public hearing scheduled for the Sept. 17 meeting of the City Council.
