4-H club to accept new enrollments in September

Tapo Simi 4H Club will accept new enrollments at its general meeting at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10 at Valley View Middle School multipurpose room, 3347 Tapo St., Simi Valley.

4-H is a youth organization for girls and boys ages 9 through 19, administered by the University of California Cooperative Extension.

Members can select from projects such as archery, hiking, crafts, cooking and sewing. Community service, leadership and public speaking are also emphasized.
