Village Voices open auditions

The Village Voices Chorale will hold open auditions beginning Aug. 26 for its holiday concert season.

Interested singers from throughout Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley may call (805) 4952701 for additional information and an audition appointment.

Choral singing experience and good sight-reading skills are a plus.

The holiday concert will be in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Scherr Forum Theatre on Dec. 7 and 8. The show is directed by Gloria Hilliard and accompanied by Christine DeKlotz.

The chorale offers a blend of choral music from classical to Broadway.
