Restaurant hosts celeb chef dinner

Amuse Bouche- Fine Dining, Simi Valley's newest upscale restaurant, will host a prix fixe (fixed price) dinner event tonight, Friday, Aug. 24. Reservations for dinner will be taken for times between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Executive chef/owner Sylvain Rivet has invited internationally renowned chefs Eric Frechon and Josiah Citrin to join him in the kitchen in preparing a five-course dinner, featuring delicacies from French and Californian cuisine.

Frechon is the executive chef at the Bristol Hotel in Paris and was recently inducted into the Legion of France for his culinary contributions to the French culture.

Citrin is the executive chef/ owner of the highly rated Mélisse restaurant in Santa Monica.

The dinner will be served with selected accompanying wines.

The cost is $65 without wine and $95 with wine.

Diners will have the opportunity to meet the visiting chefs and receive an autographed copy of the prix fixe dinner menu.

The restaurant is at 5764 E. Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley.
