First aid and CPR course at Simi Hospital

Simi Valley Hospital will offer a course in pediatric and adult CPR and first aid from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 at the hospital, 2975 N. Sycamore Drive.

This American Heart Association course covers CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. The first aid section teaches participants how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

Participants will also learn basic first aid tips that can be used on adults and children.

The fee is $85, and preregistration is required.
