FOOD Share sponsors fundraiser

FOOD Share, Ventura County's only regional food bank, has announced "Faith for FOOD Share" Weekend, Friday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 9.

During the threeday campaign, houses of worship and spiritually based groups and congregations of all faiths are asked to forward offerings to support FOOD Share's direct hunger services.

The purpose of campaign is to raise funds for food, equipment and food bank operations and to raise awareness about hunger services that are available.
