Deadline for fiction contest extended one week
Entries now due next Friday
      Because of a flood of submissions to the Simi Valley Acorn' s "Fiction in a Nutshell" contest, the paper has decided to extend the deadline for entries to Friday, Aug. 31. Here's how it works: In 100 words or less, write a short fiction story and e-mail it to simi@theacorn.com.
