KOC charity golf tournament readies for shotgun start

The Simi Valley Knights of Columbus Council No. 5803 will host its annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Aug. 27 at Wood Ranch Country Club, 301 Wood Ranch Parkway in Simi Valley.

The shotgun start for Texas Scramble begins at 7:30 a.m. The public, including men and women, is invited to participate.

The cost is $125 per player before Aug. 5 and $135 thereafter. The fee includes the 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, contests on the course, team photo and a barbecue lunch and awards presentation.

Proceeds will assist the Knights in their charitable work.

Donations of cash or prizes are welcomed and tee sponsorships are available.
