High school volleyball league in need of referees

The Channel Coast Volleyball Officials Association will host its first meeting for those wishing to officiate at high school girls' games during the upcoming fall season at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at the Ventura Adult Education Facility, 5200 Valentine Road, Ventura.

All training will be provided.

The fall season begins in early September.

The association referees games in Ventura County.

New officials, including college students, are welcome. Officials are especially needed in Camarillo, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley.
